Intern - Patient Engagement (Clinical Research)

Location: Parma, Italy; flexible working approach with remote activities and relocation support.

What you will do

• Support the implementation of the internal patient engagement website, including content, functionality, search, and optimization.
• Develop and optimize digital campaigns for clinical study websites, including design and tracking.
• Contribute to global and regional initiatives that improve clinical study efficiency, data quality, and patient experience.
• Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion tactics for assigned disease areas and clinical studies.
• Coordinate with Clinical Programs, Clinical Operations, Patient Advocacy, Procurement, Communications, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and other R&D functions.
• Maintain relationships with patient engagement organizations, update SOPs and KPIs, and support budget management.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, business, or life sciences discipline.
• Fluent English.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of clinical research operations across Phase I–IV studies and GCP guidelines.
• Basic project management knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the drug development process.
• Strong communication, customer orientation, teamwork, and emotional and social intelligence.
