Intern - Patient Engagement

Intern - Patient Engagement (Pharma): Supporting patient engagement activities in R&D for AIR, RARE, and CARE franchise projects with an accent on website implementation, digital campaigns, and cross-functional coordination. Location: Parma, Italy (HQ-based with flexible working approach and remote activities)

Salary: 1000 EUR monthly reimbursement

What you will do

• Support implementation of patient engagement internal website with external providers, including content, functionality, search, and optimization.
• Develop digital campaigns for clinical study websites, handling design, tracking, and optimization.
• Identify and implement global/regional initiatives to promote innovation in clinical research for better study efficiency, data quality, and patient experience.
• Drive DEI tactics and strategies in assigned disease areas/clinical studies.
• Act as point of contact between R&D Patient Engagement and internal functions like Clinical Operations, Patient Advocacy, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Maintain relationships with patient engagement organizations, stay updated on regulations/trends, map SOPs/KPIs, and support budget management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in scientific, healthcare, business, or life sciences field
• Fluent English (study experience abroad is a plus)
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of clinical research operations (Phase I-IV), GCP guidelines, project management, and drug development process
• Passion for patient-focused innovative clinical research
• Strong communication, customer orientation, team working, emotional/social intelligence
