What you will do

• Translate SolidWorks drawings into CNC programs for laser/punch, mill, lathe, router, and bending machines.
• Define tooling paths, machine parameters, and setups for various materials and geometries.
• Optimize cycle times and reduce waste using 3D printers and 3D scanners.
• Compare 3D scans with CAD models to validate dimensional accuracy and propose improvements.
• Design and fabricate assembly and inspection fixtures to support manufacturing and quality processes.
• Collaborate with design and industrialization teams to ensure the manufacturability of parts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in CAD/CAM/CAE, CNC programming, and manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM/CAE software such as SolidWorks, Mastercam, Solid CAM, or VPSS.
• Strong understanding of CNC principles and G-code.
• Experience with metal fabrication processes including milling, turning, laser cutting, and bending.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Tualatin, Oregon.

• Experience in switchgear or electrical enclosure manufacturing.
