What you will do

• Design and maintain automated test suites for backend, web UI, and APIs using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Lead end-to-end and browser-based testing strategy for frontend applications.
• Write API and integration tests for Next.js routes, server components, and Vercel deployments.
• Validate data integrity, edge cases, MongoDB interactions, training pipelines, and inference services.
• Own test infrastructure in CI/CD with GitHub Actions, improving reliability and parallelization.
• Mentor juniors, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and contribute to QA documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in Shenzhen, China for hybrid work (3 days in-office)
• 5+ years in QA, test automation, or software engineering with TypeScript/Python proficiency.
• Deep expertise in Playwright for browser automation and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing, Next.js, React, Vercel, GCP, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Turborepo, Bun, MongoDB.
• Ability to establish testing standards, mentor team members, and improve quality processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
