Marketing Intern

TL;DR

Marketing Intern (Food & Beverage): Support marketing, business development, and sustainability activities in the Netherlands with an accent on analysing consumer/market trends, operational research, and preparing presentations for customer meetings. Focus on coordinating brand projects with agencies, event planning, and market landscaping to identify growth opportunities.

Location: Utrecht, the Netherlands. Active university student status and residency in the Netherlands required.

What you will do

• Prepare trend presentations and analyse consumer and retailer panel data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, Kantar) to support marketing initiatives.
• Assist in brand and communication projects by coordinating with design agencies, supporting communications, and managing client documentation.
• Contribute to event planning and execution, including trade fairs and marketing events.
• Conduct market landscaping to identify trends, growth opportunities, and key stakeholders in Food & Beverage.
• Assist with sustainability initiatives by analysing data and preparing materials for customer meetings.
• Handle other assignments and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Master student (wo level) in Marketing, Business, or similar with active university student status and residency in the Netherlands.
• Business and marketing understanding with strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Team player with multitasking, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, continuous learner, and self-starter.
• Good computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
