What you will do

• Develop automated tests for frontend and backend services primarily using Java, Gherkin, and Cucumber.
• Plan, design, execute, and report various types of tests for web-based products.
• Document tests in TestFLO and track/report bugs using Jira.
• Collaborate with product owners and distributed teams in Germany to ensure product quality.
• Utilize MySQL and Cassandra databases to validate application behavior and extract reports.
• Review technical documentation and requirement specifications to refine the development process.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program.
• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and Java programming.
• Basic understanding of RESTful Web Services, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Bucharest, Romania for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, and Linux.
• Previous experience in software quality assurance or testing web platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile development models and SQL.
• Interest in web application security.
