Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud)

TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud/K8s): Ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Cloud IaaS and PaaS services with an accent on 24/7 L2 support and system automation. What you will do

• Provide L2 technical support with direct customer contact.
• Maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Troubleshoot network and storage systems on Linux and Kubernetes with Helm Charts.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation using Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new services into the cloud and Kubernetes environment.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, from analysis to resolution and follow-up.

Requirements

• Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift model, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Multiple years of experience as an SRE, Linux System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong experience with automation tools (Ansible, SaltStack) and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualized environments like OpenStack and KVM.
• Ability to script in Go, Python, or Bash.
• Fluent German and English (at least B2 CEFR level).

Nice to have

• Experience with RDMA, InfiniBand, and RoCE protocols.
• Knowledge of Linux MD RAID and LVM.
• Proficiency in Linux performance tuning and network stack debugging.
• Experience with S3, Ceph, and software-defined networks.
• Familiarity with professional software development practices (code reviews, testing).
