What you will do

• Manage the implementation and maintenance of robust security protocols to protect IT assets and infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve security gaps and operational inefficiencies to enhance service reliability.
• Develop and execute security training programs to ensure employee compliance with standards.
• Monitor service operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture.
• Lead incident response efforts, managing both timely resolution and post-incident reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in service or security management, preferably in the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management.
• Proven track record of managing complex security situations and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English and German (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Berlin.

Nice to have

• Relevant IT security certifications for cloud computing (CCSP, CISSP, CISM).
• Cloud-specific certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
