IT Support Analyst

TL;DR

IT Support Analyst (Windows/O365): Providing 1st and 2nd line remote and onsite support for office and manufacturing environments with an accent on incident management and service delivery. Focus on troubleshooting Windows Enterprise, managing Microsoft 365/Azure environments, and maintaining hardware across UK sites.

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in or able to provide onsite cover for UK sites (Preston and Warwick).

What you will do

• Provide 1st and 2nd line remote and onsite IT support across office and manufacturing environments.
• Act as the first point of contact, recording and resolving incidents within agreed SLAs using Service Management tools.
• Support users with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Azure, and hardware including laptops and printers.
• Coordinate IT inductions and maintain the internal knowledge base.
• Assist Applications and Infrastructure teams with project-related activities and network patching.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and communicate major incident updates to users.

Requirements

• Strong customer service, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide onsite cover for UK sites as required.
• Strong interest in IT (prior experience is beneficial but not essential).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tickets and manage conflicting demands.
• Willingness to learn and follow established IT procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, SharePoint, and Android OS.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
