What you will do

• Design and implement core components of the Agents Python framework
• Define APIs and abstractions for developers building AI agents
• Own features from design through implementation and integration
• Propose and debate architectural decisions shaping the framework
• Identify elegant solutions to complex design problems
• Collaborate across Python, Node, and Rust systems

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S (Remote, U.S)
• Strong experience building production systems in Python
• Excellent API design instincts and engineering taste
• Experience building SDKs, frameworks, or developer tools
• Able to drive projects independently from idea to completion
• Comfortable with complex systems, tradeoffs, and communication

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions or maintained libraries
• Experience with LLM-based or agentic applications
• Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystems
