TL;DR
CPU Power Architect (CPU Architecture/Power Management): Defining next-generation CPU power management architecture and delivering architectural specifications for active and idle power handling across OS, driver, and platform components, with an accent on power scenarios, power delivery, and energy efficiency. Focus on coordinating new design ideas, driving implementation, and activating power-management features in post-silicon systems.
Location: Hybrid role based at the site in Haifa, Israel, with time split between on-site and off-site work

What you will do
- Define next-generation CPU power management architecture for active and idle power states.
- Specify interactions between the CPU, operating system, drivers, and platform components.
- Develop architectural specifications for power handling, power delivery, and power efficiency schemes.
- Initiate, guide, and coordinate the design of new power-management ideas and products.
- Drive implementation and activation of features during post-silicon development.
- Collaborate across technical architecture and engineering groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of related work experience.
- Experience writing and defining software using C, C++, Python, or C#, or experience with chip design, electrical components, logical flows, or CPU architecture.
- Deep understanding of system architecture and current CPU design for PC or mobile devices.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and cross-group collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, resourceful, and enthusiastic approach.
