TL;DR

Team Lead, Field Expertise (Engineering): Leading a global team of technical experts to ensure high-quality installation of soundproof pods with an accent on bridging the gap between field operations and product development. Focus on improving installation experiences, providing R&D insights, and managing global dealer networks.

Location: Hybrid in Tampere, Finland (weekly visits to HQ required; must be based in the Pirkanmaa area)

What you will do

  • Lead a distributed global team of specialists across multiple time zones, including the US and Finland.
  • Travel internationally (roughly 2–5 days a month) to ensure technical excellence and maintain a lead-player presence in the field.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D and product development teams to improve the overall installation experience.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for global dealers and service partners to communicate changes and develop training.
  • Oversee installation quality and track progress using Salesforce or similar ticketing systems.

Requirements

  • Background in technical installation and maintenance (e.g., electricity, mechanical automation, or heavy equipment).
  • Experience in a leadership role such as Lead Technician, Maintenance Team Leader, or Project Manager.
  • Fluency in both Finnish and English.
  • Readiness to travel monthly (domestic and international, including 1–2 annual trips to the US).
  • Experience with CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Salesforce) and a data-driven approach.
  • Must be based in the Pirkanmaa area/Tampere to effectively collaborate at the HQ.

  • Previous experience managing remote or international team members.
  • Experience working directly with dealer networks or service partners.
  • Background in developing technical training materials or coaching teams.
  • Proven track record of solving systemic problems to improve operational quality.
