What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale levels from whiteboxing to final polished experiences.
• Create engaging mission structures, encounters, and environmental puzzles aligned with narrative goals.
• Build immersive worlds using environmental storytelling and cohesive spatial design.
• Implement gameplay systems and level scripting using Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including art, combat, narrative, and sound.
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers while documenting and promoting team best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional level design experience in the gaming industry.
• Proven track record of shipping at least one AA+ title, preferably in the action-RPG genre.
• Advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine and strong Blueprint scripting skills.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in level layout, pacing, and player engagement.
• Must be based in Germany.
• Availability to work core hours aligned with CET.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-world or non-linear level design.
• Familiarity with 3D tools such as Maya or Blender.
