What you will do

• Converse with AI models on theoretical and applied mathematics questions.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model outputs.
• Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes to harden model reasoning.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Develop high-quality training data across fields like calculus, algebra, and number theory.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in mathematics or a closely related field.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Expertise in algebra, calculus, number theory, geometry, probability, and statistics.
• Ability to provide clear, metacognitive communication by "showing your work".
• Proven track record through peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or research projects.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cryptography and optimization techniques.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, set theory, or combinatorics.
