Salary: $80,000 – $250,000 per year

What you will do
- Design and debug FPGA logic on Xilinx Zynq / Zynq UltraScale+ platforms.
- Develop custom RTL IP (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL) and integrate vendor IP using Vivado.
- Develop and maintain PetaLinux projects, customizing boot components like FSBL, U-Boot, and the kernel.
- Configure device trees, kernel drivers, and peripheral interfaces.
- Perform board bring-up and validate hardware/software functionality using JTAG and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate with hardware teams on schematics, timing closure, and system architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise with AMD Xilinx Zynq SoC platforms and Vivado build flows.
- Hands-on experience with PetaLinux and Embedded Linux development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Understanding of AXI, DDR, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, and GPIO interfaces.
- Must be based in the Bay Area, CA, United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC.
- Familiarity with Yocto Project beyond PetaLinux.
- Python or TCL scripting for build and test automation.
- Experience with HDMI/MIPI, secure boot, or system updates.
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows for embedded systems.
