What you will do

• Oversee the data governance program and implement best practices to enhance data quality, integrity, and security.
• Develop and monitor data quality standards, metrics, and thresholds.
• Manage the Atlan data governance platform as the primary subject matter expert.
• Lead data classification efforts, identifying sensitive and critical data elements.
• Manage external and regulatory data requests to ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Collaborate with Data Platform, InfoSec, Product, and Engineering teams to execute cross-functional goals.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States
• 4–7 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or data analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data query and analysis.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, and database design.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced certifications in data governance are preferred.
