Software Engineer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fullstack): Design, development, and implementation of a new modern, cloud-based Global Warranty Management solution with an accent on fullstack Java/JavaScript development, LLM prompt engineering, and Agile methodologies. Focus on building scalable secure applications, integrating AI for warranty workflows, and delivering high-quality features through CI/CD pipelines.

Location: Onsite five days a week in Peoria, IL or Irving, TX, United States. Relocation available. Visa sponsorship not available.

What you will do

• Perform programming, project management, and development for new features and maintenance of the Global Warranty Management solution using Agile methodology.
• Identify and resolve application/technical problems, including off-shift support.
• Drive development of valuable business features while maintaining high software quality standards.
• Design, test, and refine prompts for large language models to support warranty workflows, reporting, and user assistance.
• Communicate with end users to direct development, debugging, and testing for accuracy and interoperability.
• Conduct integrated and customer acceptance testing to ensure quality results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience as application developer with proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of software development tools, product technical aspects, testing methodologies, effective communications, and decision making.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Agile/Scrum framework, AWS cloud deployment (ECS, Lambda, SNS, Kinesis, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Front-end with React/Angular, TypeScript, RESTful APIs; secure apps with Java 21+, Spring Boot.
• AI prompt crafting, data structures, hirify.global authentication protocols, cross-functional collaboration.
