Security Engineer II (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid position based in Utah; requires regular in-office days each week.

What you will do

• Design and maintain security controls for cloud-first, API-driven infrastructure and SaaS systems.
• Conduct security risk reviews for new technologies, including Agentic AI use cases.
• Lead incident response efforts including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Automate repetitive security tasks using scripting and tooling enhancements.
• Partner with engineering and compliance teams to align security standards with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and improve security telemetry and detection capabilities to identify threats.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or a related cybersecurity role.
• Experience across domains like IAM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and identity systems.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation for security workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Utah office on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (CIS, NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, CSPM, or IAM tools.
• Knowledge of security for LLM-powered tools and AI systems.
