TL;DR

Member of Technical Staff, AI Data (MAI Superintelligence): Design and develop data pipelines that ingest enormous amounts of multi-modal training data with an accent on petabyte-scale storage, processing, and rigorous experimentation. Focus on building cutting-edge infrastructure, partnering with pretraining and post-training teams, and collaborating to identify gaps in AI models.

Location: Zürich, Switzerland. Expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if living within 25 miles of that location.

What you will do

• Design and develop data pipelines for ingesting multi-modal training data including text, audio, images, and video.
• Build and maintain infrastructure to store and process petabytes of data for AI models.
• Partner with pretraining and post-training teams to improve data recipes through experimentation.
• Collaborate with product teams and engineers across hirify.global to identify model gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, or related field AND experience in data engineering, data science, or software development OR equivalent.
• Expertise in large-scale data engineering applied to AI.
• Expertise in Spark, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Passion for data in large-scale AI model training and ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environment.
