What you will do

• Lead full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment for cloud-based systems.
• Develop new capabilities and optimize existing ones for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support operations, maintenance, and sustainment of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions with minimal oversight.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical direction.
• Integrate COTS/GOTS products into distributed architectures and assist in project planning.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Eight years developing software with Java, C, C++
• Five years developing for UNIX/Linux (Redhat 3-5)
• Three years in software integration and testing, including test plans/scripts
• Bachelor's in technical field (or 4 extra years experience); Master's gives 2 extra years
• Strong AWS SDKs/APIs/cloud architecture, IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform), CI/CD, Java for distributed systems, Agile/Scrum, Linux/scripting, microservices/Kubernetes

Nice to have

• Apache Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi
• Security/compliance for cloud
• Cloud Developer Certification (AWS preferred)
