What you will do

• Represent QA in Agile and Waterfall ceremonies, provide test estimates, approaches, and reports.
• Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases aligned to requirements and user stories.
• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks with WebdriverIO, Playwright, Selenium (JavaScript/TypeScript), and integrate with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Own defect management, conduct risk-based testing, and support post-implementation activities.
• Perform API testing with Postman/Bruno, performance/load testing, and ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards (FCA).
• Mentor team on automation and contribute to process improvements and cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

• Hybrid in Manchester/Leeds: 3 days on site per week
• Demonstrable manual testing experience and software delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Proven hands-on automation with WebdriverIO, Playwright, Selenium (JavaScript/TypeScript) and API testing (Postman, Bruno).
• Experience with JIRA, BrowserStack, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices.
• Financial services background, understanding of investment products and FCA regulations.
• ISTQB/ISEB certified (Foundation or Advanced), strong analytical skills, Web/Mobile testing.
