What you will do

• Manage people: inspire, coach, and develop a team of 10 ML and software engineers across two pods.
• Define technical architectures and solutions aligned with business domain for spend classification, data harmonization, and AI products.
• Ensure production services meet quality standards in maintainability, security, reliability, and observability.
• Optimize team organization, workflows, agile practices, and routines for sustainable delivery.
• Drive cross-team collaboration, alignment on dependencies, timelines, and progress for shared initiatives.

Requirements

• Excels in English communication with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• Substantial engineering management experience in complex, technically uncertain environments.
• Technical background understanding software/ML engineers' daily work and production ML systems.
• Experience leading ML engineers on production-grade systems and experimentation-driven delivery.
• Understanding of agile principles, iterative delivery, modern cloud/SaaS technologies.
• Critical thinking for data-guided prioritization and process shaping around team needs.

Nice to have

• Python ML ecosystem: PyTorch, MLflow/W&B, feature pipelines, model serving.
• MLOps: model versioning, CI/CD for ML, monitoring/drift detection.
• LLMs/NLP: RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering.
