What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve automation and control problems and optimize existing processes.
• Provide technical support to maintenance, operations, and quality teams, including off-hour and weekend support.
• Perform controls programming and troubleshooting to drive improved uptime and quality.
• Manage special projects related to the integration of robotic cells and vision sensors.
• Maintain best practices for system backups, schematics, and communication of changes across shifts.
• Enforce safety standards and comply with legal regulations to ensure a healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Automation or related field, or 4-5 years of equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Rockwell / Allen Bradley) and Fanuc robot programming.
• Proficiency with RSLogix5000, Factory Talk View, Fanuc IR Vision, and Cognex vision systems.
• Experience with machine tending production processes.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible hours to support the assembly process.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Fort Wayne, IN
