Salary: $150,000 – $185,000

What you will do

• Establish and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability of services using tools like DataDog.
• Handle critical alerts and incidents, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Research blockchain workflows to identify optimization opportunities and improve system monitoring.
• Automate runbooks and operational tasks using Python, Lambda, shell scripts, ArgoCD, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with R&D and Support teams to provide guidance on integration and observability.
• Participate in periodic on-call rotations and emergency response.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience as an SRE or Infra Backend in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in coding languages: Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
• 3+ years of experience with alerting and monitoring systems (e.g., DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus).
• Strong experience with Linux systems, AWS (or GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and ArgoCD.
• Must be located in and work according to US Pacific Time.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working with cryptocurrencies or blockchains.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux optimization, nginx, and MySQL.
• Experience leading or participating in Kubernetes migration projects.
• Previous background as a C++ or Node developer.
• BSc in Computer Science or relevant technical certifications.
