What you will do
- Design and deliver conversational AI analytics experiences using Cortex for HR and Legal teams.
- Co-own the data foundations by designing and evolving the data layer in collaboration with Analytics Engineering.
- Translate business needs from Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and Legal Operations into structured data models and AI skill definitions.
- Deliver actionable insights on attrition risk, hiring bottlenecks, and legal spend to drive stakeholder decisions.
- Maintain rigor by owning testing, validation, and quality checks to prevent data drift in AI products.
- Develop and maintain role-based access models for sensitive HR and Legal data using secure views and row-level policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering owning end-to-end data products.
- Strong SQL proficiency for writing complex, high-performance queries.
- Familiarity with the modern data stack, including dbt, Airflow, and Git.
- Experience translating non-technical stakeholder requirements into technical data models.
- Strong instincts for data quality and validation against source systems.
- Must be based in Menlo Park, CA, USA.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Cortex, Streamlit, or LLM-powered analytics tools.
- Background in people analytics (workforce planning, attrition, compensation).
- Experience with Legal Operations data (matter management, legal spend).
- Python experience for data pipelines and automation.
- Experience designing access controls for PII and privileged legal information.
