TL;DR

What you will do

• Design and build scalable pricing infrastructure, engines, rule frameworks, and APIs.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and operational models for pricing logic, experimentation, and analytics.
• Develop systems for capturing, processing, and serving pricing data across platforms.
• Productionise machine learning models with Pricing/Data Science teams, including feature pipelines and monitoring.
• Ensure reliability, observability, automation with CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
• Implement scalable solutions avoiding technical debt for long-term architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering in production systems, ideally marketplaces or pricing environments.
• Expertise in PHP and Laravel for secure, performant backend services.
• Strong Python and SQL for data pipelines, services, and models.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and data systems for rule-based logic.
• Productionising ML models (feature pipelines, deployment, monitoring).
• Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automated testing, observability for revenue systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with pricing engines, experimentation, or optimisation systems.
• Marketplace or dynamic pricing environments.
• Modern data stacks and orchestration tools.
