Finance Officer (Accounting) Ukraine (Only for internal Candidates)

TL;DR

Finance Officer (Accounting): Implement financial systems according to NRC policies and procedures and provide administrative support to project staff with an accent on voucher verification, payments processing, and account reconciliations. Focus on ensuring compliance with Ukrainian legislation, timely booking of costs into Agresso ERP, and preparation of donor reports.

What you will do

• Implement delegated financial functions according to NRC Financial Handbook and SOPs.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, status reports, and support project staff in financial matters.
• Verify vouchers and supporting documents, process payments to suppliers and staff, manage petty cash and corporate card.
• Book costs into Agresso ERP, perform bank and balance reconciliations, resolve payment queries.
• Assist in audits, verify purchase requisitions and orders, support donor reporting.

Requirements

• Pre-intermediate English (written and verbal) and fluency in Ukrainian required
• Only for internal NRC candidates
• Knowledge of humanitarian context in Ukraine.
• Experience in NGO accounting, donor budgets, and Ukrainian tax reporting (preferable).
• Knowledge of primary documentation for supplier payments per local law.
• Experience with Agresso ERP system and good MS Office skills.
