Maintenance Technician (Automotive)

TL;DR

Maintenance Technician (Automotive): Work as part of maintenance operations team covering production breakdowns, maintaining equipment to highest standards, producing Kaizens to reduce breakdowns, and driving cost reductions through root cause analysis of faults. Focus on mechanical and electrical automotive engineering skills, electrical control and mechanical systems.

Location: Based in Solihull. Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time and travel within the UK

Salary: £31.64 - £32.64 per hour (Inside IR35)

What you will do

• Work as part of the maintenance operations team
• Cover breakdowns during production time
• Maintain all equipment to the highest standards
• Produce Kaizens to reduce breakdowns
• Drive cost reductions in the area and root cause all faults

Requirements

• Proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time and travel within the UK
• Previous experience in a similar maintenance operations role in manufacturing
• Technical mechanical and electrical automotive engineering skills
• Knowledge of electrical control and mechanical systems
• Comfortable use of Microsoft Office elements e.g. Excel/PowerPoint

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CMMS systems
