Fullstack Engineer

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (PHP/TypeScript): Develop web applications and backend services to support Paid Media business operations with an accent on scalable, maintainable solutions using PHP, NodeJS/NestJS, Symfony/Laravel, databases, and AWS. Focus on delivering well-engineered code, identifying issues, and drawing data-driven conclusions in a Scrum environment.

Location: Nis, Serbia (hybrid: office at least 3 days a week, occasional work from home)

International company with Engineering Team of 50+ members across Serbia, Poland, UK, Denmark, Bulgaria, and Romania, developing tools for Paid Media operations.

What you will do

• Deliver well-engineered, scalable, maintainable, and testable solutions for web applications and backend services.
• Identify issues, problems, and opportunities; analyze data from various sources to draw conclusions.
• Collaborate in Scrum (2-week sprints) with Fullstack Engineers, DevOps, QAs, and PMs.
• Work with rich tech stack including PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS, Symfony, Laravel, ORMs, databases, AWS, CloudFlare.
• Use AI tools like Cursor, Copilot, Claude in SDLC and get mentored by seniors.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in at least 3 of: strong OOP, PHP (Symfony/Laravel), NodeJS/TypeScript (NestJS/React/Angular), ORMs/relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL)/SQL, frontend (JS ES6+, HTML/CSS/SCSS, responsive design, PageSpeed, mobile-first, build tools), Git.
• Strong analytical skills, quick learner, collaborative team player.
• Applications in English only.

• Passion for clean, scalable code.
• Analytical, debugging, troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AI tools, Agile/Scrum, AWS, mentorship.
• 5+ years in frontend or backend.
