About the Role

You will embed in frontline KYB operations to process applications, identify friction, and gather operational evidence. You will translate that evidence into detailed workflow requirements, design and maintain dashboards, build AI-assisted scripts and low-code automations, and map as-is to to-be processes to create a straight-through processing (STP) pipeline. You will own exception handling, conduct sampling-based quality reviews, audit exception patterns, and propose risk scoring and escalation criteria. You will validate and debug automation outputs and act as the operational voice to translate requirements for Product, Engineering, and Compliance.

Requirements

• 4-6 years experience in Business or Operations Analyst roles within KYB/AML
• Proficiency in SQL
• Ability to read validate and debug AI-generated code (Python or JavaScript preferred)
• Experience with compliance platforms screening tools or workflow automation tools
• Proven experience transforming manual KYB or KYC processes into automated STP flows
• Familiarity with APAC regulatory context including Hong Kong and Singapore
• Experience with AI or ML tools applied to compliance and screening
• Experience in scaling fintech environments (Series B–D)

Responsibilities

• Translate risk frameworks into detailed KYB workflow specifications
• Structure and tag onboarding data and design operational dashboards
• Build validate and deploy AI-assisted scripts and low-code automation tools
• Map as-is and to-be workflows and design end-to-end STP pipelines
• Process KYB applications including entity verification UBO identification sanctions and PEP screening risk tiering RFI management and escalation
• Audit exception patterns and co-design risk scoring criteria and escalation triggers
• Conduct sampling-based reviews of auto-approved cases and tune the pipeline
• Act as the operational liaison for Product Engineering and Compliance translating operational needs into technical requirements
• Define automation methodologies for other products and build reusable playbooks and SLAs
