Data Science Manager

TL;DR

Data Science Manager (AI/ML): Lead and grow a team of Data Scientists driving strategy, execution, and delivery of AI initiatives across a SaaS financial platform with an accent on people leadership, technical direction, and business alignment. Focus on end-to-end data science solutions from research to production deployment, model monitoring, and integrating advances in GenAI and LLMs.

Location: Hybrid model - Tel Aviv office three days a week (Tue–Thu), remote flexibility the rest of the week. Strong Hebrew communication skills required.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7-10 Data Scientists, fostering ownership and continuous learning.
• Own the team’s roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of AI/ML initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, drive end-to-end execution of data science projects from research to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Hire, onboard, and develop top data science talent while staying current with ML, GenAI, and LLM advances.

Requirements

• 6+ years in Data Science or Machine Learning roles.
• 2+ years managerial experience leading 4+ Data Scientists.
• Proven production delivery of AI/ML solutions in SaaS/product environments.
• Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost or similar; advanced SQL with large datasets.
• Strong English and Hebrew communication skills.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (Master’s preferred).
