What you will do

• Build tools and applications to extend the infrastructure platform
• Evaluate and deploy cloud-native open source tools
• Implement resilient infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Maintain and improve observability for infrastructure and applications
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
• Define standards for services, changes, postmortems, and capacity management
• Collaborate with application teams to adopt best practices

Requirements

• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States; no sponsorship
• Strong understanding of Linux operating system
• Deep experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP), distributed systems, and reliability practices
• Strong Golang or Python experience, especially for APIs and cloud orchestration
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes patterns like Controllers and Operators
• Extensive experience with monitoring tools (Datadog) and cloud networking
• Experience designing and running highly-available production infrastructure
