TL;DR

Disputes Operations & Strategy (Fintech): Manage day-to-day operations and execute strategy for dispute workflows and servicing with an accent on scalable solutions, risk reduction, and customer-focused tooling. Location: United States (Remote)

What you will do

  • Own daily back office operations for disputes across debit and card products, ensuring timely and compliant resolutions
  • Handle complex escalations as subject matter expert, conducting advanced investigations
  • Leverage AI and data tools to identify cost-saving opportunities and build business cases
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for process breakdowns
  • Partner with Product, Compliance, and Engineering on launches and workflow impacts
  • Optimize case management systems and BPO vendor performance, communicating to leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading operations in disputes/fraud, managing large teams and BPO vendors
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (LLMs, automation, analytics) for efficiency and compliance improvements
  • Deep knowledge of fraud/disputes lifecycle, Mastercard rules, and chargeback processes
  • Solid understanding of Regulation E and Regulation Z
  • Ability to manage priorities, with owner's mentality and high integrity
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech or neobank environments
  • Familiarity with dispute case management platforms
  • Hands-on with AI-assisted workflows (triage, anomaly detection, reconciliation)
