• Track assigned accounts and identify outstanding debts
• Contact customers via phone to discuss payment status and negotiate payoff plans or deadlines
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and resolve discrepancies
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers
• Update account status and databases regularly
• Alert supervisors on uncollectible accounts and support legal actions if needed

Requirements

• Location: Cumberland, RI, US
• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years collections experience
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally to meet collections goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet
