Location: On-site from the hirify.global Campus in New York City, New York. On location work may be expected.

What you will do

• Work on-site from the hirify.global Campus and attend active productions as on-set Media Manager
• Ingest, transcode, organize, and archive footage while keeping detailed logs
• Prep and sync multi-cam footage, create string outs, assembly cuts, and apply markers
• Conform assets for vendor delivery on sound/color and client deliverables
• Collaborate with editors on dailies, selects, and workflows; address technical notes and simple graphics
• Edit low-touch short-form content and assist coordinators with assets and production materials
• Support communication between Production and Post-Production, improve workflows, and resolve technical issues

Requirements

• 3+ years experience assistant editing digital content in a professional environment
• Advanced knowledge of Mac OS, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, and After Effects
• Comfortable with common video codecs, formats, and timecode
• Detail-oriented, autonomous, adaptable to changing timelines and multiple tasks
• Working knowledge of post-production and production processes and equipment
• Proactive, positive team player comfortable sharing feedback

Nice to have

• Knowledge of social media and digital video platforms
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Audition for color and sound finishing
• Experience behind a camera and knowledge of lighting and sound design
• Experience with proxy-based workflows, remote workflows, SANs, MAMs, GFX/VFX
