TL;DR

Environment Art Intern (Gamedev): Building props, architecture, set dressings, and terrain for Battlefield game environments using Maya, ZBrush, and Substance suite with an accent on photorealism and performance constraints. Focus on completing onboarding program, planning and implementing assets, and collaborating in stand-ups, playtests, and art reviews.

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) in Stockholm, Sweden. You must be eligible to work in Stockholm without the need for visa/relocation support.

hirify.global is a creative studio in Stockholm and Gothenburg, part of Battlefield Studios (EA), developing the Battlefield franchise including immersive first-person shooter experiences.

What you will do

  • Complete hirify.global Environment Art onboarding program, learning content creation for Battlefield with mentor guidance.
  • Build props, architecture, set dressings, and terrain using Maya, ZBrush, and Substance suite.
  • Plan, estimate, and implement work, owning your learning and progress during the 6-month internship.
  • Collaborate in stand-ups, playtests, and art review meetings, seeking and applying feedback.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at university or education provider with planned internship period (e.g., LiA).
  • Eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without visa/relocation support.
  • Available for full-time 6-month placement starting September 2026.
  • Experience creating 3D art with Maya, ZBrush, and Substance suite, shown in portfolio.
  • Experience deconstructing real-world references for photorealism in environment art.
  • Experience with performance constraints and efficient asset creation for real-time environments.
  • Experience collaborating in teams, seeking and applying feedback.
