DevSecOps Engineer (AWS, Serverless, AEM, OOP Programming)

TL;DR

DevSecOps Engineer (AWS, Serverless, AEM): Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure supporting major BT websites and Adobe infrastructure with an accent on security compliance, IaC automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Focus on building scalable serverless architectures, monitoring applications with Dynatrace, and handling incident response via PagerDuty.

Location: Hybrid 3 days a week in Birmingham or Manchester offices (flexible 2 days remote).

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, DynamoDB, ECS/ECR, S3, WAF, and more.
• Ensure security compliance and best practices across AWS resources.
• Manage AEM releases and Adobe Cloud Service administration.
• Build and maintain Terraform/Pulumi IaC scripts for automated deployments.
• Monitor applications/infrastructure with Dynatrace and handle incidents via PagerDuty.
• Administer CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube for pipelines.
• Develop and deploy Node.js and Java applications.
• Collaborate with dev, security, and ops teams for high-availability cloud solutions.
• Support out-of-hours releases with time in lieu.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on AWS experience and cloud security best practices.
• Proficiency in serverless (Lambda, API Gateway) and containers (ECS, ECR).
• OOP programming (Python, TypeScript, Java or similar).
• Terraform or Pulumi for IaC.
• Monitoring/alerting (Dynatrace, PagerDuty) and CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube).
• Security: WAF, Certificate Manager, Cognito, load balancing.
• Node.js and Java deployment; AEM release management (training available).
• Willingness to work out-of-hours during releases.
• Problem-solving, communication, collaboration skills.
