What you will do

• Independently complete majority of tasks from start to finish with high quality, collaborating with senior engineers as needed.
• Apply appropriate designs and practices to build core domain services in PaaS environment.
• Partner with team to communicate technical concepts across organization (Technical Communication, Support, Product, Cloud).
• Perform well-defined tasks with increasing independence and seek guidance when needed.
• Provide on-call support for team-owned services in shared rotation.
• Adhere to engineering best practices, core values, and high ethical standards.

Requirements

• Based in Poland with sponsorship to live and work there
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related (preferred); relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 2 years developing enterprise-grade software with testing/QA understanding.
• Minimum 2 years JVM application development.
• Java + Spring (required) or Kotlin + Ktor (willingness to learn).
• Understanding of Service Ownership and DevOps culture.
• Strong written and oral English; strong communication, analytical, listening skills.

Nice to have

• Microservices Architecture experience.
• NoSQL databases, DynamoDB.
• Kubernetes, Helm, AWS services, Terraform, Golang, observability stack (Loki/OpenSearch, Jaeger/Tempo, Prometheus, Grafana).
