Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland - must attend office two days per week. Extended Stay Program allows up to 90 days outside Poland.

Salary: 257,000–385,000 PLN (annualized base, Poland)

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and maintain backend services in Go powering Workforce Management features at scale.
• Own components through the full SDLC, from discovery and planning to production support.
• Collaborate with product managers, SREs, QA, and engineers to deliver reliable solutions.
• Write well-tested code, conduct code reviews, and reduce technical debt.
• Monitor production issues, improve observability, and contribute to incident response.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster inclusive team culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years building backend services and microservices.
• Strong proficiency in Go, testing practices, and Docker.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and efficient data patterns.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred), CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures (Kafka), and REST APIs.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP/Laravel.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse.
• Observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) and Kubernetes.
