What you will do

• Design, develop in Go, and test significant features for Kubernetes application backup, recovery, and storage systems.
• Integrate hirify.global Kasten with other hirify.global products to expand overall platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across different time zones and regions.
• Contribute to the cloud-native open-source community.
• Participate in technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and provide mentorship to other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions in C++, Java, or C# with a willingness to code in Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts and client-server architectures.
• Expertise in building production-quality, scalable, multi-threaded, and concurrent systems.
• Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• University degree in a technical field or equivalent professional industry experience.
• Must be based in Warsaw, Poland for office-based work.

Nice to have

• Professional experience developing in Go.
• Experience with container schedulers and orchestration platforms.
• Experience developing complex systems using AI coding agent tools at scale.
• Active contributions to OSS projects within the Kubernetes/Cloud-Native ecosystem.
• Participation in CNCF Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) or Kubernetes SIGs.
