Senior Software Engineer (EdTech)

Salary: $130,000 to $200,000 + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Work with engineers to start projects from scratch or enhance existing codebase
• Build back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for educational products
• Drive development process: design, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
• Provide estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms/technologies
• Collaborate and communicate across multiple development teams for product releases

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Passion for improving education through technology
