Location: Remote (1099 consulting role for 6 months with possible extension)

What you will do

• Accurately interpret state educational standards and international curriculum documents
• Identify IXL skills that best align with each standard or textbook section
• Format alignments as Google spreadsheets
• Research state and international education standards
• Collaborate with curriculum designers to optimize alignments
• Incorporate feedback and complete revisions as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) or closely-related field
• 1+ years of experience aligning content to state standards
• Strong knowledge of K-12 educational terminology and science content
• Teaching experience in K-5 science
• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organization, independent work ethic, and clear communication
