Location: Remote (1099 consulting role, US-based company)

What you will do

• Accurately interpret state educational standards and curriculum documents
• Identify IXL skills that best align with each standard or textbook section
• Analyze progressions of skills and standards across grade levels
• Format alignments as Google spreadsheets
• Research state and international education standards
• Incorporate feedback to revise alignments
• Collaborate with curriculum designers on optimal alignments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, linguistics, education, or related field
• 1+ years of experience aligning content to state standards
• Strong knowledge of K-12 education terminology
• Experience working across multiple grade bands
• Strong knowledge of English grammar
• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Clear and consistent communication skills
