What you will do

• Review math video content and suggest adaptations for UK edition, including spelling, grammar, terminology, and punctuation in British English.
• Ensure cultural relevance for UK students, avoiding US-centrism, and adherence to IXL style guide.
• Verify grade-level appropriateness and pedagogical relevance according to UK teaching conventions.
• Maintain overall quality and consistency of math content for the UK market.
• Answer queries on British English, UK cultural customs, and math curriculum.

Requirements

• Impeccable knowledge of British English linguistic conventions
• Strong understanding of UK culture and customs
• BA/BS degree in relevant field and prior experience in related role
• Experience as a math teacher in UK primary or secondary education
• Extensive knowledge of UK pedagogy, teaching methodologies, and student reading/knowledge levels
• Familiarity with style manuals (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style)
• Strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and organizational efficiency
• Proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets
