What you will do

• Develop detailed mechanical designs using 3D CAD and create 2D fabrication drawings
• Author Engineering Change & Release documents (ECN/ECO)
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with Systems Engineering on sub-systems and product roadmaps
• Build, debug, and test prototype designs
• Assist NPI team with customer early access units
• Work with procurement to identify alternative vendors and suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree a plus
• 3+ years in design and manufacture of complex electro-mechanical systems
• Solidworks for 3D CAD modeling, drawing creation, and EPDM data management
• FEA using Solidworks Simulation or Ansys Workbench
• PLM software like TeamCenter or WindChill; experience with ECN/ECO
• Knowledge of GD&T, detailed mechanical drawings, schematic/harness drawings, OEM component selection
• Familiarity with manufacturing/machining methods; understanding of CE, UL, SEMI, ISO, NFPA standards
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically or internationally
