TL;DR

Location: 100% Remote (Bogota)

Leading nearshore staff augmentation provider headquartered in New York with 600+ professionals based in Latin America, partnering with U.S. companies on digital transformation projects. Client builds cloud-based solutions for public institutions to modernize operations.

What you will do

  • Lead migration of legacy .NET MVC app to .NET 8.0, focusing on backend services and APIs.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices on AWS.
  • Develop and optimize MS SQL Server schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate on Angular frontend components and ensure seamless backend integration.
  • Use AI tools like GitHub Copilot to boost code quality and development speed.
  • Handle testing, troubleshooting, Agile collaboration, GIT version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in SaaS or Enterprise Application Development.
  • Hands-on .NET Core experience, interest in .NET 8.0.
  • Building and deploying microservices in cloud (AWS preferred).
  • Advanced MS SQL Server skills: design, development, tuning.
  • Angular experience with backend API integration.
  • Experience with AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, etc.).
  • Ability to write high-quality, self-tested code and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
