Quality Engineer

TL;DR

Quality Engineer (QA): Contribute to quality across the SDLC from requirements to full test automation including services API and UI with an accent on balancing manual and automated testing in various contexts. Focus on crafting high-end coded tests and scripts using Node.js, Java, Python or .NET, working with data for test assertions, and suggesting testing types like Smoke, E2E, Regression, Performance.

What you will do

• Apply a holistic quality mindset across requirements, software development, and full test automation for API and UI.
• Balance manual and automated testing based on context needs.
• Craft coded tests and scripts in Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET.
• Work with data to assert test executions or prepare environments.
• Suggest and perform testing types including Smoke, Exploratory, E2E, Regression, Performance, Stress across SDLC.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience in the role or software development.
• Experience with industry tools & frameworks like SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, PyTest, Nightwatch, Katalon, Appium, Cucumber.
• Strong computer science foundation.

Nice to have

• CI/CD setup as part of quality assurance.
• Work with public cloud applications and services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Load and performance testing setup, execution, and monitoring.
• Test plans creation and management including strategy and environments.
