What you will do

• Assemble complex prototype PCBs with precision, including fine-pitch SMD components like QFN, BGA, 0402/0201
• Perform soldering, rework, and component replacement on multilayer boards using hot air stations
• Operate and program pick-and-place machine for prototype and pre-series builds
• Prepare stencils, apply solder paste, and manage reflow processes
• Inspect boards with microscopes and tools, support hardware bring-up and debugging
• Identify assembly issues, provide design feedback, and maintain component inventory

Requirements

• Technical education in electronics (e.g., Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician) or equivalent
• Extensive hands-on experience in high-precision PCB assembly and rework
• Advanced soldering skills for fine-pitch and high-density SMD components
• Proficiency with hot air rework stations, reflow soldering, stencil printing, and PCB tools
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, structured approach in fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience with pick-and-place machines and small-batch manufacturing
• IPC certification (e.g., IPC-7711/7721) for rework and repair
