TL;DR

Senior Data Scientist (Python): Transforming raw sensor data into actionable insights and personalized advice with an accent on real-time heuristics, algorithms, and prediction models for industrial processes. What you will do

• Work in Asset Management Product Team on data quality improvements and algorithms for circuit breakers, partnering with VP of Product Innovation on R&D projects.
• Design scalable algorithms turning raw/enriched data into actionable advice, like flagging machine degradation or estimating efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to create deployable artifacts for streaming and batch insights across customer base.
• Interface directly with customers to understand processes and translate into pragmatic algorithms delivering real impact.
• Contribute to cross-disciplinary team in Scrum environment with 2-week sprints, daily stand-ups, and quarterly goals.

Requirements

• Business level fluency in English mandatory; Dutch proficiency highly preferred for customer interactions.
• MSc in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or comparable field.
• 3+ years as Data Scientist fluent in Python with Pandas and Numpy.
• Experience building Python modules/packages beyond Jupyter notebooks.
• Programming best practices: version control, testing, code quality, CI/CD.
• Strong communicator for team collaboration and autonomous work.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS.
• Use case discovery and running PoCs, e.g., from data science consultancy.
