What you will do

• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and manage structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Partner with PMs, BIEs, and scientists to provide clean, production-ready datasets.
• Build and optimize data infrastructure to support processing of structured and unstructured data.
• Automate processes for data collection, validation, and transformation to improve efficiency across global vendor touchpoints.
• Build AI-enabled applications to deliver bespoke insights for tech and non-tech data consumers.

Requirements

• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role (e.g., software engineer, business intelligence engineer, data scientist).
• Track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM.
• Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document/key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).
• Experience working on and delivering end-to-end projects independently.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for full SDLC, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, and operational excellence.
