Trust & Safety Specialist: Own customer-facing workflows for sensitive policy-driven interactions like privacy requests, DMCA claims, law enforcement requests, and abuse appeals with an accent on compliance, risk management, and user experience. Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid, in office Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

What you will do
- Handle end-to-end customer interactions for sensitive cases including privacy requests, DMCA claims, law enforcement inquiries, and abuse appeals.
- Triage and respond to high-risk support tickets ensuring compliance with legal, policy, and security requirements.
- Partner with Legal, Security, and Operations to translate policies into actionable workflows and playbooks.
- Design processes, escalation paths, and reporting for scalable trust and safety operations.
- Identify trends in cases to drive improvements and reduce risks.
- Embed workflows into tooling and support training for frontline teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years in customer support, trust & safety, support operations, or similar in tech.
- Experience with privacy, DMCA, law enforcement, abuse handling, or policy-driven workflows.
- Strong judgment for sensitive situations and balancing risk, compliance, user experience.
- Skills in building SOPs, playbooks, workflows; cross-functional collaboration with Legal/Security.
- Strong written communication for high-stakes interactions.
- Experience with support tools like Zendesk, case management, documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience with developer tools, SaaS, technical users.
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA or global compliance.
- Tooling, automation, workflow design.
